Passing the Torch
Founder Tatiana Vetrinskaya recently announced the transfer of ownership of the New Mexico School of Music to Director Lawrence Blind and his wife Teresa Hurt. In a heartfelt and gracious speech to the NMSM faculty, Tatiana said that the time is right to step back from the day-to-day management of the school. She is not retiring from music, however, and is looking forward to continuing her tutelage of students and embracing new music endeavors. Lawrence and Teresa expressed their deep appreciation to Tatiana, and their hope for the school to continue to flourish and grow.
Bravissimo Tatiana on the incredible 20-year legacy you created!
